One of Europe’s leading odysseys has just announced its final news ahead of this August’s beatific Soundwave Festival, which takes places on the sun-kissed Dalmatian coastline in the picture-postcard village of Tisno.
Now the club shows can be revealed, with three delectable sessions taking place at the simply sublime open air environment, Barbarella’s, surrounded by pine trees and the Adriatic, where watching dawn break and the sky lighten is a mesmerising experience and integral part of the festival. Powered by Funktion One, Soundwave is proud to reveal across the weekend a series of three shows featuring brilliant genre-spanning artists at the club:
Friday 5th August:
Jazzanova – Alexander Nut – Chunky – Tuckshop DJs
Saturday 6th August:
Congo Natty – LTJ Bukem – Eva Lazarus – Soundcrash DJs
Sunday 7th August:
Dan Shake – Henry Wu – Gilla
All artists at Soundwave bring a different kind of music to the region, weaving a trail across broken beat, reggae, afro to acid jazz, hip-hop, soul, funk, drum and bass, vocalists, rappers and more. The festival takes place at The Garden Resort, a true slice of paradise nestled on the Dalmatian coastline. Blessed with crystal clear azure Adriatic waters, sizzling sunshine and star-lit night skies, the idyllic and intimate setting welcomes a global crowd of music lovers and adventure seekers to Tisno.
The site has the incredible water-side beach bar, where you are so close to the sea you are almost dancing in it, and cosy curl of beach which looks out over the bay. The site’s main stage is a little way behind, perfect for headline acts, and nearby nestled under the canopy of trees is the Olive Grove stage. It’s a beautiful location, everything built around nature, growing like the environment around it, rich with intimacy and a sense of wonder.
