Calvin Klein Collection presentedtheir Fall 2014 on the runway at Spring Studios in Tribeca earlier this afternoon. The runway show was also streamed live on-line and will be available tomorrow for viewing at SwOmagazine.com.
“The basis of my fall collection surrounded knitwear, which translated into a warm, textural coziness,” said Mr. Costa. “It had an overall sense of ease, but with an urban element woven throughout.”
Fragility balanced with a cool, street vibe. Contrasting proportions with slim or oversized shapes. From fitted, menswear-inspired coats, to those with an undone sensibility and raw edges – all are structured and intimate. The look is elongated, layered and relaxed. Extended sweaters, dresses and mid-calf length skirts form languid lines. Naïve details, like playful collars and glass beaded safety pin closures, infuse youthful touches. Innocence rediscovered. The casual ease of t-shirt dressing is heightened with sophisticated, embroidered nylon gauze dresses.
We like this tranquil elegance collection for urban woman.
