Calvin Klein Collection presented 42 looks to an audience in Milan. In addition to seven exclusive male models, the show featured four female models – Gemma Ward, Mariacarla Boscono, Iselin Steiro and Jessca Miller – in full men’s looks. The casting served to convey the show’s message of the universal power of men’s tailoring, examining core pieces that are fundamental to the brand’s identity. Exquisitely tailored menswear essentials were rendered in rich fabrics, sumptuous textures and unexpected accents. Lustrous silver, gold and rose gold metal foil infused the collection with a vibrant energy, and was incorporated in standalone pieces as well as outerwear lining and accessories. A neutral palette of black, white, camel and ivy provided a spartan backdrop for the trinity of metals. Calf framed derby shoes were featured throughout the collection, while earrings and necklaces mirrored after bolts and screws amplified the sense of masculine sensuality that permeates the season.
As previously announced, Calvin Klein Collection Men’s Fall 2016 runway show in Milan was live streamed on SwOmagazine.com.
