Don’t worry if you weren’t able to pronounce this from the first time. We had to repeat it for a while to get it right. Ok, let’s do it once again. Cherevichkiotvichki. Cherevichkiotvichki. Got it now? If not, practice until you do because Cherevichkiotvichki is a brand to know. The name Cherevichkiotvichki stands for ‘A shoe by Victoria’. This is how Lithuanian shoe designer based in London, Viktorija Andrejeva, decided to name her modern brand. Viktorija is a selft- taught designer whose first collection, created in 2011, was presented in Paris fashion week and sold to Dover Street Market as well as Comme des Garçons ‘Trading museum’ shops in Paris and Tokyo. A real inspiration in terms of design and craftsmanship, Cherevichkiotvichki collaborated with studio Toogood to create unique installations combined from Cherevichkiotvichki shoes and Soviet utilitarian furniture which was altered and adapted to reflect themes of abandonment, age and texture.
