Casio Computer Co. has introduced three new shock-resistant watches in the GMA-P2100 series, expanding its popular G-SHOCK lineup. These compact timepieces bring vibrant monochromatic colours to the well-known 2100 line, recognized for its unique octagonal bezel.
In response to the increasing demand for smaller and universally appealing G-SHOCK watches, Casio has focused on downsizing in recent years. The new GMA-P2100 watches maintain the iconic octagonal bezel and simple face design of the 2100 line but offer a fresh approach with lively colours and a more compact, shock-resistant profile for improved comfort. The case of these new watches is 2.7 mm narrower, making them 94% the size of traditional GMA-S2100 models. The band length has also been shortened by approximately 10 mm, ensuring a comfortable fit for those with smaller wrists.
These watches come in vibrant turquoise blue, bright pink, and white monochrome colour options. They incorporate both light and dark shades of the same colour for various components, such as the dial, index marks, and hands. This design not only enhances the streamlined appearance but also ensures easy readability.
In a nod to sustainability, the bezel and band are crafted from bio-based resin, contributing to environmental conservation. Casio is dedicated to expanding its collection of gender-neutral G-SHOCK timepieces, meeting the needs of the diverse and growing community of G-SHOCK enthusiasts while emphasizing comfort and style.
