Flowers, feathers and embroideries – Elie Saab made us feel like Disney’s fairy-tales are real. Very classy couture looks were always his specialty and this, spring-summer 2015 show, was not an excuse. Long embroidered gowns were breathing with brittleness and sensitivity, while black garments seemed more mysterious. The flowers or their petals, which were embroidered on the most of the dresses, brought the fresh scent of spring to the collection and that only made it more desirable. This time there were more ostrich feathers than sequins, more lose-cut, fluttering silhouettes than clear, tight shapes. The collection created atmosphere of pleasant and warm days, which are obviously missing, while the winter is here. And that is why it was so delightful for our eyes. The models, gracefully passing by the runway decorated with olive trees, made every girl dream of being a princess again, even if it is just for one day. Even if it is just while wearing couture dresses like that. Elie Saab seems to really establish himself as an author, who just simply always makes it right.
