Calvin Klein hosted a desert brand experience in Palm Springs this past weekend. The weekend kicked off on Friday evening with a large-scale warehouse music event that featured sets by headliner DJ and producer Alesso, as well as Brodinski, Guillaume Berg, Virgil Abloh and Eclair Fifi.
Beginning on Friday, Calvin Klein took over the L’Horizon Hotel and Spa in Palm Springs and transformed it into an immersive lifestyle experience that was home to a diverse group of guests from the music, fashion and art worlds for the duration of the weekend.
Throughout the weekend, guests engaged in music, fashion, fitness, food, art and social activations onsite at L’Horizon. For the overall experience, Calvin Klein collaborated on the curation of the program with Nate Brown from Institute Studio and Virgil Abloh. Key moments included daily yoga sessions in partnership with Y7 Yoga Studio; pop-up radio broadcasts with No Vacancy Inn Radio; a barbecue that featured a DJ set by Twin Shadow and an acoustic performance by Goldlink; poolside sketches by illustrator Sean Ryan of Badly Drawn Models; a fireside cultural talk led by Adwoa Aboah with Amandla Stenberg and Shamir; acoustic sets by Kevin Garrett and Caroline Vreeland; and a weekend closeout DJ session with Boiler Room, in addition to Friday’s warehouse music event.
SwO is happy to show some pictures from the music event. Enjoy!
