Karen Walker‘s eyewear ads are known for their minimalism in everything but models’ personalities. The first campaign for Summer 2013, that was a team work with Advanced Style blogger Ari Seth Cohen, featured the models between 65 and 92 years old and was all sassy-like. The second one, however, is the stage for kindergarteners Claudia, Tyler, Elice and Alice-Rose from 3 to 5 years old and is full of energy, optimism and playfulness. The photographer Derek Henderson and children made it as alive as it can be – the combination of experience behind the camera and emotions in front of it brought it all to life.
Each of the cute little pies wears one of a four new styles in two different colours – black with black lenses and white with blue reflecting lenses. The Siouxsie, the Underground, the Rowdy and the Peek-a-boo cost around $350. Not bad for the little fashionistas, right? Apart from looking so cute in the pictures, these children are just as adorable in the reality too. Little ginger-haired Alice-Rose’s answer to the question about her favourite colour is just priceless: ‘It’s pink and purple and gold and black and white and silver and grey and also blue and also purple’. Lovely!
P. S. Don’t two of the girls remind you of Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington?
