During the last two years of the pandemic, Latvian fashion brand has presented their collections in new, unorthodox ways. Store windows becoming a stage, streets of Riga becoming a catwalk space and fashion shows getting digital.
One Wolf’s spring-summer 2022 collection premiere took place in Riga historic Old Town. Models catwalk showcased a collection throughout the whole length of Laipu street. The street formed in the 13th century and the total length of the street is only 70 metres covered by paving. During catwalk producer, Ivars Burtnieks shot a short film “The Dreamer”. Catwalk audience got the unique experience to witness behind-the-scenes of creating a fashion film.

Legendary song “Imagine” by John Lennon and Yoko Ono imagines a world without paradise and hell, without countries and religion. This song calls for unity of humanity and has been the anthem of peace fighters and nonviolent resistance activists for half a century. It is the inspiration of the collection.

Right now the whole world unites in reflection and daydreaming.
The collection reflects pandemic, continuous political struggles and desire for optimism and a naïve faith in a better future. In the light of forced social distancing, people have found new ways of communicating, sharing opinions, joy and grief. But isn’t a real-life get-together still the place to inspire hope, dreams and ideals?
