The Garden Festival in Croatia has just announced its final series of boat parties, which take place across the glittering Adriatic Sea each afternoon and night. The majestic event credited as the catalyst behind the whole now thriving festival scene in the region, and approaching a decade of beatific seasons everyone is primed for its final triumphant climax from what started with just 300 people back in 2006.
There’s dancing under the sun and stars at the Main Stage and the incredible water-side Beach Bar, partying by the trees at the new Olive Grove Stage to watching the sun come up at dawn in the fully open air Barbarella’s Discotheque, all part of a truly unique adventure in Tisno. And no visit to the festival is complete without a voyage or two on either The Argonaughty or The Arbiana, two sea-faring salty sea dogs who over the years have hosted some truly amazing parties which are still talked about now. For the 10th anniversary and last ever Garden Festival, this is the last chance to experience four glorious hours on the boats either beneath the sizzling Croatian sun or in the company of clear moon-filled night skies, hosted by partners and crews who have just been revealed and will keep the bass booming and the waves rocking on each and every voyage.
Eddie O’ Callaghan, one of the festival’s founders, explains: “The boat parties are an essential part of coming to The Garden Festival, they are such good fun! We used to run Bulletproof boat parties back in San Francisco and part of the original plan for Croatia was to do the same, to bring that spirit and vibe here. The Argonaughty has become really iconic over the years and now The Arbiana has come into its own too. And the last day will again be capped by the Secret Island Party with both boats taking part which will be a brilliant way to round off our final year out on the sea. Again, we have got some great friends, family and partners who are hosting and there are some top-drawer lineups to choose from, I am not sure which ones to go on myself! There is extra special resonance as this is our last year, the tickets will fly out!”
