Giorgio Armani can be considered as a father of the elegant, light and heavenly beautiful garments. The trend of Asian attributes was seen in his previous collections and this spring/summer show was not an exception. The main visible symbol on long silk skirts was tight, luxurious dresses or little jackets was bamboo. Since this tree represents both – fragility and strength at once, it seems to be important for the designer to demonstrate that these are also the traits of the Armani woman. From the first look she is very delicate and brittle, but in reality – firm and nearly unbreakable. For the elegant day look there was dominating palette of green and creamy colours, light organza and transparent materials. However, mysterious dark blue and aqua blue coloured dresses from silk, tied with judo-style belts created magical evening looks. The long gowns made all of feathers or all embroidered in crystals are also worth mentioning. Once again, Armani showed the mastery, when it comes to the stunning eveningwear.
